Application Support Engineer – Cloud & Windows

About the role

Rank Interactive is looking for an Application Support Engineer to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of its business‑critical applications. You will work across production and non‑production environments, supporting a mix of proprietary and licensed gaming software.

Key responsibilities

• Own and support business‑critical applications in Windows and Azure environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to applications, data, integrations, and infrastructure.
• Manage deployments, lead root‑cause analysis, and implement long‑term reliability solutions.
• Drive monitoring, alerting, and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and Vendor teams during major incidents.
• Support testing and release activities to ensure high‑quality deployments.
• Mentor junior engineers and help build a high‑performing support function.

Required profile

• 4–6+ years of experience in Application Support, Software Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong experience supporting business‑critical applications in production.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud, SQL databases, REST/SOAP APIs, and Windows Server environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools and ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Experience with incident management, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Python) are advantageous.
