Assistant Accountant - Fund Services

About the role

The Assistant Accountant – Fund Services will support a growing portfolio of private equity and real estate funds. You will handle day‑to‑day accounting, reporting, and investor‑service activities while ensuring high client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for investors, handling information requests, account maintenance, and website assistance.
• Process and report investor transactions such as subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers, and manage associated cash movements.
• Review due‑diligence documents and coordinate AML/KYC checks with management.
• Collaborate with Treasury to confirm cash activity and prepare investor confirmations.
• Maintain electronic and hard‑copy client files, prepare capital call and distribution notices, and support external auditors during year‑end audits.
• Execute general‑ledger entries for investor‑level, fund‑level, and investment‑level transactions, including daily cash handling, wire transfers, and bank reconciliations.

Required profile

• College degree (accounting, finance, economics, mathematics or related field preferred).
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in private‑equity or fund administration is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Advanced Excel expertise.
