Assistant Chef de Partie – Luxury Resort

About the role

Constance Prince Maurice is seeking a motivated Assistant Chef de Partie to support the Chef de Partie in delivering exceptional dining experiences for discerning guests. You will work in a dynamic kitchen environment, ensuring high standards of quality, taste, and presentation while contributing to smooth service operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in managing the assigned kitchen section and preparing mise‑en‑place.
• Prepare and cook menu items according to hotel recipes and standards.
• Supervise and guide Commis Chefs when required, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and FIFO rotation.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards, controlling wastage and supporting stock management.
• Report equipment malfunctions or quality issues to superiors and keep the work area clean and organized.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in a similar hotel or restaurant position.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety/hygiene standards.
