Assistant Cost Controller – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Assistant Cost Controller will support the Cost Controller in monitoring revenues, costs, and inventory across hotel operations. This position ensures accurate stock control, reporting, and contributes to overall cost efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily revenue reporting and audit record verification.
• Monitor and verify food and beverage cost calculations.
• Prepare and maintain inventory, purchase, reconciliation, and consumption reports.
• Support supervision of outlet activities to ensure compliance with cost‑control procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of stores, bars, and operational areas for stock quality and compliance.
• Assist with inventory reconciliations and stock‑taking across departments.
• Identify discrepancies, control weaknesses, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Promote energy‑saving and cost‑conscious practices.

Required profile

• Higher School Certificate with Accounting and Mathematics at A‑Level or equivalent; ACCA Level 1 is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar cost‑control or inventory role within Food & Beverage operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
