Assistant Manager – Finance & Administration (Mauritius, On-site)

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to support both finance and administration functions for a leading multinational operating in Mauritius. The role is full‑time, on‑site and offers the opportunity to work across bookkeeping, compliance and office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain bookkeeping using Sun Systems, manage accounts payable and receivable, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and file VAT, TDS and MRA statutory returns, and produce cash‑flow forecasts.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely audit documentation.
• Oversee day‑to‑day office operations, vendor procurement, travel arrangements and tracking of licences and permits.
• Ensure compliance with Mauritian company law and MRA regulations, liaising with the Company Secretary on filings and board resolutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• ACCA qualification (part‑qualified or fully qualified) preferred.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in Mauritius.
• Fluent in English and French with a strong, independent working style.
