Assistant Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to support the Unit Manager in delivering high‑quality operational services across our Global Business Sector. The role combines oversight of daily activities, risk mitigation and client‑facing responsibilities within a fast‑growing fund administration environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Unit Manager in all operational aspects of unit deliverables and ensure service quality.
• Oversee, review and monitor work performed by unit members, including timesheet management and capacity planning.
• Provide regular operational updates to senior management and identify training needs.
• Apply a risk‑minimisation mindset, proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks.
• Conduct customer due‑diligence (CDD) in line with AML policies and maintain up‑to‑date records.
• Attend internal and external client meetings, review minutes and follow‑up on action items.
• Authorize bank account openings and ensure transactions align with company scope.
• Review board packs, shareholder resolutions, certificates of standing and incorporation documents.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring timely and high‑standard service delivery.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of operational risk and AML compliance within a financial services context.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude towards identifying training needs and process improvements.
