Assistant Outlet Manager

About the role

Join Constance Le Chaland, a luxury hotel on Mauritius' south‑eastern coast, as an Assistant Outlet Manager. You will support the smooth operation of the food‑and‑beverage outlet, ensuring high standards of service, hygiene and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, control and coordinate daily outlet activities in line with hotel F&B policies.
• Apply and monitor hygiene, safety and operational standards.
• Manage staff scheduling, holidays, discipline and training under the direction of the F&B Manager.
• Control breakage, conduct inventory checks and report material usage.
• Attend daily F&B meetings and contribute to cost‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain staff rotas, oversee recruitment, orientation and performance coaching.
• Ensure restaurant cleanliness, set‑up and appropriate staffing levels before each service.
• Coordinate with the kitchen, conduct pre‑meal briefings and handle guest feedback promptly.

Required profile

• Familiarity with outlet procedures and hotel F&B standards.
• Ability to plan, organise and control outlet operations.
• Experience managing personnel schedules, training and disciplinary actions.
• Strong understanding of hygiene, safety regulations and inventory management.
• Capability to analyse costs and suggest profitability improvements.
• Excellent communication for briefing staff and addressing guest comments.
