Assistant Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Operations team in delivering joinery and interior fit‑out projects across Mauritius. You will work closely with the Project Operations Manager, workshop staff, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and ensure quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project schedules and flag any delays.
• Coordinate activities between the workshop and site teams to prevent gaps.
• Liaise daily with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to address project needs.
• Assist the Project Operations Manager with reporting, documentation and data upkeep.
• Resolve day‑to‑day site and workshop issues as they arise.
• Maintain organized project files, drawings and correspondence.

Required profile

• Some experience in construction, joinery or fit‑out projects, or a related field.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to juggle multiple projects.
• Clear communicator comfortable interacting with clients, subcontractors and workshop staff.
• A qualification in Engineering, Project Management or similar is a plus, but not mandatory.
