Assistant Vice President 1

About the role

The Assistant Vice President will lead the daily valuation and reconciliation processes for a range of funds, ensuring accurate net asset values (NAV) and timely reporting to investors and internal stakeholders. This senior position sits within Apex Group’s fund administration team and works closely with investment managers, brokers, custodians and auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Review and calculate periodic (daily/weekly/monthly) NAVs for multiple funds.
• Reconcile investment portfolios, dividends, interest, corporate actions and investor capital movements.
• Communicate with investment managers and investors regarding account operations and query resolutions.
• Maintain and update accounting and client relationship management systems, prepare financial statements and support external audits.
• Oversee fund accountants, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and compliance with regulatory and fund‑specific requirements.
• Monitor service level agreements, internal revenue reporting and deliverables to meet accuracy standards.
• Plan, schedule and manage daily workflow of client deliverables, including delegation and supervision of accounting staff.
• Participate in recruitment, training and performance management of the accounting team.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in hedge fund administration, NAV calculation or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of fund industry practices and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and coordinate with multiple external parties.
• Experience supervising and developing accounting personnel.
