Associate Executive – Client Services

About the role

The Associate Executive will support senior team members in delivering client proposals, managing onboarding processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position is based within Apex Group’s Mauritius operations and offers exposure to a global fund administration environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist seniors with drafting client proposals, project descriptions, and related documents.
• Coordinate with KYC, onboarding, and legal teams to gather required information.
• Support client risk rating activities and escalate high‑risk factors to management.
• Engage with clients to capture requirements for new setups, conversions, or take‑overs.
• Prepare and file application documents for licensing, re‑domiciliation, and other regulatory submissions.
• Upload required documents to ROC and FSC portals and follow up on authority queries.
• Conduct research needed for project work and maintain up‑to‑date client and sales databases.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in Mauritius’ global business sector, preferably in a client‑service capacity.
• General understanding of tax, regulatory, and licensing frameworks affecting financial services in Mauritius.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet tight deadlines, including occasional odd hours.
• Strong record‑keeping discipline and attention to detail.
• Professional relationship‑building skills with peers and stakeholders.
