Associate Manager – Finance & Reporting

About the role

The Apex Group is seeking an Associate Manager to lead a small team responsible for delivering high‑quality management and statutory reporting for its global fund administration business. You will ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations and internal policies while driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activities of team members to meet client commitments, SLAs and reporting deadlines.
• Plan, coordinate and complete management and statutory reporting, ensuring full compliance with accounting and regulatory obligations.
• Review bookkeeping, management accounts and interim/annual financial statements under IFRS.
• Liaise with clients, auditors and regulators to facilitate audits, tax filings and regulatory surveys.
• Prepare and present KPI dashboards, reports and management presentations.
• Identify automation opportunities, support new process implementation and mentor team members.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in drafting and reviewing management accounts and financial statements under IFRS.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of IFRS developments and regulatory reporting regimes.
• Team player with the ability to motivate, coach and mentor staff.
• Experience with accounting software, databases and IT platforms.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance or fully qualified ACCA.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in accountancy and IFRS reporting.
