Associate Manager – Operations

About the role

The Associate Manager will support the Unit Manager in delivering high‑quality operational services across the Global Business Sector. This role combines oversight of daily activities, risk management, and client relationship handling to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Unit Manager with all operational aspects of unit deliverables.
• Monitor and review work performed by unit members, including timesheet analysis and capacity planning.
• Provide regular operational updates to senior management and identify training needs.
• Apply a risk‑minimisation mindset, proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks.
• Conduct customer due diligence (CDD) in line with AML requirements and maintain updated records.
• Attend internal and external client meetings, review minutes, and ensure follow‑up actions.
• Sign off on bank account openings and verify that banking transactions align with company scope.
• Review board packs, shareholder resolutions, and certificates of standing for accuracy.
• Handle incorporation documents, liaise with regulatory bodies, and manage restructuring, merger, re‑domiciliation, transfer, and winding‑up processes.
• Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring service standards and deadlines are met.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to support unit‑level operations and manage multiple tasks.
• Understanding of business and operational risk within a global financial environment.
• Experience in AML/customer due diligence processes.
• Capability to review financial and regulatory documentation accurately.
• Proactive communication with senior management and client stakeholders.
