About the role

EGR, a leading legal services firm in Mauritius, is seeking a qualified Attorney at Law to join its Port Louis office. This full‑time, on‑site position involves close collaboration with colleagues and clients to deliver timely, accurate, and pragmatic legal solutions across a range of sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and representation to corporate clients and statutory bodies.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Manage multiple matters simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Conduct research and analysis on civil procedure, commercial and corporate law issues.
• Maintain and develop client relationships, handling files independently.

Required profile

• Admitted as an Attorney‑at‑Law and in good standing with the relevant Bar or Law Society.
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
• 2–5+ years post‑qualification experience in litigation, commercial transactions, corporate advisory, or related practice areas.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and client‑focused approach.
