Bellman – Guest Services Porter

About the role

The Bellman provides essential guest‑service support at Constance Le Chaland, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for visitors in a luxury resort setting. Working closely with senior porters and the concierge team, the role combines front‑of‑house duties with operational responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Report for duty according to the rota, maintain a clean and tidy appearance, and wear the correct uniform and name badge.
• Assist guests with arrivals, departures, luggage handling, restaurant reservations, and external bookings such as tours, excursions, and car hire.
• Maintain the lobby, luggage room, departure lounge, and beach towel stock, ensuring all areas remain clean, orderly, and well‑presented.
• Drive and maintain the club car in accordance with hotel policy, and report any irregularities.
• Support other departments when needed and respond promptly to guest requests or issues, following up to confirm satisfaction.
• Adhere to health, safety, fire, and environmental procedures, reporting defects and participating in relevant training.

Required profile

• Middle or secondary education with relevant training or certificates.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a top‑luxury resort.
• Physical stamina, attention to detail, and strong time‑management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional attitude.
• Fluency in English and at least one additional language; a third language is a plus.
