Business Analyst – ERP & Process Optimization

About the role

We are a Main Market LSE listed drilling and mining services company expanding its footprint across Mauritius. We are seeking a dedicated Business Analyst to support the development and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related business systems.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Finance and HSE teams to capture business needs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyse and document processes such as maintenance cycles, logistics, procurement, asset management and job costing.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications for Dynamics 365 configuration and enhancements.
• Support system improvements, conduct SIT and UAT testing, and ensure data accuracy across assets, suppliers and materials.
• Act as liaison between operational teams and the Business Systems team to align system changes with practical needs.
• Assist with user training, system documentation and onboarding for new features.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs and reporting tools to enhance operational visibility.
• Maintain documentation, test scripts and process flows while supporting governance, audit and compliance.

Required profile

• Experience as a Business Analyst or in process improvement within mining services, heavy industry, engineering or logistics.
• Degree in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
