Business Intelligence (BI) Lead

About the role

The Business Intelligence (BI) Lead will drive the design, development, and delivery of BI solutions that enable data‑driven decision making across the organisation. You will lead a dedicated BI team, collaborate with business stakeholders and technical partners, and ensure high‑quality reporting and analytics are delivered on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage the BI team, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
• Design, develop and maintain reports, dashboards and BI applications using JasperReports, Power BI and Microsoft Power Apps.
• Create and maintain data models and oversee ETL processes to guarantee data quality and integrity.
• Optimise performance of reports, dashboards, SQL queries and ETL pipelines.
• Analyse data to uncover trends, produce insights and present recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay current with emerging BI technologies and propose enhancements.
• Document solutions, provide training, and ensure thorough testing and quality assurance.
• Maintain existing BI solutions, troubleshoot issues and ensure system reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
