Business Project Lead

About the role

Join the Private Wealth Management (PWM) Strategic Business Unit of MCB as a Business Project Lead. You will be responsible for identifying, coordinating, and executing strategic projects that enhance business performance, client experience, and organizational effectiveness across wealth management and digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of strategic initiatives and transformation projects identified by senior management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely execution.
• Proactively identify, evaluate, and champion new business, operational, digital, and client‑centric initiatives that support the growth and strategic ambitions of the PWM SBU.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and key stakeholders to define strategic priorities, translate them into actionable initiatives, and establish success measures and KPIs.
• Facilitate engagement forums, workshops, and strategic discussions with internal and external stakeholders to foster innovation and improve the value proposition for private and affluent clients.
• Develop business cases, project charters, governance frameworks, and implementation roadmaps, clearly articulating objectives, benefits, risks, resources, and timelines.
• Monitor project progress, manage dependencies, and proactively escalate risks, issues, and opportunities to ensure effective decision‑making and successful delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance, business management, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional qualification is a plus.
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in wealth management, business consulting, project management, or related areas.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex policy, process, and organizational dynamics while delivering results under pressure.
• Strong decision‑making, continuous‑improvement mindset, and ability to prioritize work to meet organizational goals.
