Buyer – Tendering & Contracting (Procurement)

About the role

DHL is looking for a proactive Buyer to join its EMEA Procurement team in Port‑Louis. You will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end purchase‑to‑pay cycle, ensuring compliance with global and local policies while supporting internal demand and supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and execute the purchase‑to‑pay process in line with DHL’s global, regional and local procedures.
• Capture internal demand, handle non‑catalogue requests and promote the use of procurement catalogues.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal business partners.
• Provide first‑level user support for e‑Purchasing tools and manage catalogue content.
• Deliver second‑level issue resolution and master‑data management.
• Support the Senior Buyer with continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, data entry, customer service or related support functions.
• Fluent in English and French (minimum B2 level).
• Responsible, proactive, detail‑oriented and a strong team player.
• Good computer literacy.
