Client Accountant

About the role

The Client Accountant will deliver day‑to‑day financial reporting for a portfolio of fund structures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and multiple accounting standards. You will work closely with global teams to produce accurate financial statements and support client and audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP (IFRS, US GAAP, FRS 102, LUX GAAP).
• Maintain accounting files and checklists to support efficient review of financial statements.
• Collaborate with sending locations to verify accounting records and incorporate relevant disclosures.
• Resolve discrepancies promptly and ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Process client and audit comments, meeting milestones and deadlines.
• Identify and close accounting issues, preparing review checklists for each engagement.
• Assist the Manager and team with ad‑hoc tasks as needed.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Qualified, graduate or partially qualified accountant.
• Strong interest in financial markets and reporting.
• Well‑organized, able to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS.
• Familiarity with US GAAP.
• Understanding of FRS 102.
• Awareness of LUX GAAP.
• Experience with accounting for alternative assets, including real‑estate, debt and private‑equity structures.
