Client Accountant

About the role

The client is a Mauritius‑based fiduciary and corporate services provider that administers global business companies, trusts and other corporate structures for an international client base. The Client Accountant will prepare accounts and financial statements, coordinate audits and regulatory filings, and manage bookkeeping and tax submissions to keep client entities compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accounts and financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Coordinate audits and regulatory filings for multiple client entities.
• Submit VAT, PAYE, TDS and other tax returns.
• Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping and accounting operations.
• Liaise with clients, auditors and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• A degree in Accounting or Finance, or ACCA/ACA qualification.
• One to two years of relevant experience, or a motivated fresh graduate.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Mauritian citizenship and residence in Mauritius.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using accounting systems.

What we offer

• Competitive salary of MUR 30,000 – MUR 40,000 gross per month, based on experience.
• Permanent, full‑time position based in Ebène, Mauritius.
