Client Accounting Manager

About the role

The Manager – Client Accounting acts as the primary contact for complex client matters, overseeing operational requirements while providing training, coaching, and support to the team. The role ensures high‑quality, accurate, and timely delivery of client work, maintains compliance with group policies and local regulations, and builds strong senior‑level client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a client portfolio, address complaints and resolve complex issues to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Review and validate complex tax computations, financial statements, tax returns and regulatory submissions for accuracy and timeliness.
• Implement new methodologies, standards, regulations and software enhancements to continuously improve client service and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and the Associate Client Services Director to allocate tasks and plan resources effectively.
• Oversee team performance, staff development, planning activities and information‑security requirements, ensuring adherence to the IQ‑EQ Mauritius ISMS framework.

Required profile

• Degree and/or relevant professional qualification.
• Extensive managerial experience in fund or corporate accounting services.
• Strong background in complex accounting and financial reporting.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS and preparation of financial statements in line with applicable laws.
• Proven experience managing senior‑level client relationships.
• Proficiency in Microgen.
