Client Services & Trading Support Officer

About the role

The Client Services & Trading Support Officer provides high‑quality assistance to clients using the company’s trading platform and coordinates manual trade instructions with the Execution Desk and external custodians. Acting as the main liaison between clients, the Execution Desk, custodian banks and internal teams, the role ensures smooth communication, accurate processing and timely resolution of queries.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for client queries on platform access, account administration and manual trade procedures.
• Provide training, guidance and troubleshooting for platform‑related issues, escalating technical problems to IT or Platform Risk as needed.
• Receive, verify and forward manual trade instructions to the Execution Desk, maintaining clear records and following up on confirmations and statements.
• Liaise with custodian banks to ensure accurate communication of trade instructions and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist clients with stock transfer requests, coordinating with Operations and custodians to track and complete transfers.
• Ensure all client communications comply with internal policies, exchange rules and regulatory requirements, escalating suspicious activity to Compliance.

Required profile

• Strong client‑focused attitude with excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to handle complaints, prioritize issues and work collaboratively with Operations, Platform Risk and Compliance teams.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when processing trade instructions and maintaining records.
• Proactive approach to identifying platform issues and escalating risks promptly.
