Cluster Senior Internal Controller

About the role

The Cluster Senior Internal Controller will oversee internal control practices across two properties in Rodrigues – C Rodrigues and Constance Tekoma. Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, the role ensures compliance, risk management and continuous improvement of financial and operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Constance internal control policies for procurement, stock movements, transfers and cost of sales, especially for Food & Beverage and Spa.
• Supervise Cost Control and Storekeeping teams, coordinate reporting with the Accounting Manager and Financial Controller.
• Control and record the flow of goods across receiving, storerooms, main kitchen and F&B outlets.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly and year‑end inventories and prepare physical inventory reports.
• Establish daily and monthly food and beverage costs, prepare profit‑and‑loss statements per outlet and analyse sales statistics.
• Prepare month‑end closing reports for F&B, minibar, spa, shop and operating supplies, handling adjustments with the Regional Financial Controller.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Management.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in internal control or cost control within 3‑ to 5‑star hotels.
• Proven team‑management experience in a hospitality environment.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA (Level 2 or qualified), CIMA, CPA or CIA preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and cost‑control methodologies.
• Experience with food & beverage cost analysis, inventory management and month‑end closing processes.
• Ability to supervise and develop Cost Control and Storekeeping teams.
