Cluster Senior Internal Controller – Rodrigues

About the role

The Cluster Senior Internal Controller will oversee internal control practices across two properties in Rodrigues – C Rodrigues and Constance Tekoma. Working closely with property management, the role ensures robust risk management, compliance with policies, and continuous improvement of financial and operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, monitor and ensure compliance with Constance internal control policies for procurement, stock movements, transfers and cost of sales, especially in Food & Beverage and Spa.
• Supervise Cost Control and Storekeeping teams, coordinating accurate and timely reporting in partnership with the Accounting Manager and Financial Controller.
• Control and record the flow of goods across receiving, storerooms, main kitchen and all F&B outlets, and participate in monthly, quarterly and year‑end inventories.
• Establish daily and monthly food and beverage costs per outlet, prepare profit‑and‑loss statements, and analyse outlet performance.
• Prepare month‑end closing reports for food, beverage, minibar, spa, shop and operating supplies, handling adjustments in coordination with the Regional Financial Controller.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Management.
• Professional certification such as ACCA (Level 2 or fully qualified), CIMA, CPA or CIA.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in internal control or cost control, including team management within 3‑ to 5‑star hotels in Mauritius.
• Proven ability to work with senior management and drive continuous improvement of financial processes.
