Communication Lead

About the role

The Communication Lead will coordinate brand communications, public relations, content creation, media initiatives and corporate events for a luxury hospitality group operating across the Indian Ocean. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure consistent messaging and execution across all touchpoints while supporting the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the communication plan, manage budgets and monitor campaign performance.
• Coordinate media campaigns, press releases, media visits, events and launches.
• Develop and maintain brand‑consistent materials such as brochures, newsletters, presentations and press kits.
• Oversee photo and video production, ensuring timely delivery and brand alignment.
• Build and nurture relationships with media, partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct market and competitor research to inform communication strategies.
• Track and report on PR coverage, communication metrics and budget utilization.

Required profile

• Proactive, organised and autonomous with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Strong analytical mindset to anticipate needs, evaluate results and provide recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail for proofreading and editing.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external agencies.
