Compliance Assistant

About the role

The Compliance Assistant will support the Compliance team in day‑to‑day operations, ensuring that queries and issues are addressed promptly and that regulatory standards are upheld across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Update the compliance log with rejected applications.
• Assist with approval of transactions in Boats.
• Review flagged cases and take appropriate action (monitor, close, or escalate) to mitigate financial‑crime risks.
• Support thematic reviews under the compliance monitoring programme.
• Handle queries from client onboarding and sales teams.
• Maintain the Training & Competence log.
• Support implementation of compliance control mechanisms.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the direct manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Compliance, Risk, AML or CFT.
• Experience with CFDs/FX margin trading, preferably within a licensed investment firm or management company.
• Relevant degree and/or Compliance/AML & CFT certification.
• Strong technical skills, business understanding and ability to handle confidential information.
• Team player able to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
