Compliance Officer – Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our Mauritius office and support a stable international financial services business. The role is ideal for candidates with experience in compliance, banking or other regulated financial institutions who wish to deepen their expertise in broker compliance, AML/CFT and internal control processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support internal compliance processes, policy updates and procedure reviews.
• Assist with AML/CFT controls, KYC/KYB, sanctions screening and transaction monitoring.
• Review client and internal files to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal policies (desk‑based document review, no direct client contact).
• Prepare compliance reports, audit materials and management updates.
• Support internal reviews, remediation actions and respond to regulatory requests.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Compliance Manager on day‑to‑day compliance tasks.

Required profile

• Prior experience in compliance, banking, financial services, brokerage or another regulated institution.
• Good understanding of compliance processes in a financial environment.
• University degree (advantageous).
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail and discretion.

Required skills

• Strong MS Office skills.
