Corporate Lawyer

About the role

Customs Support Group (CSG) is seeking a proactive, business‑oriented Legal Counsel to join its in‑house legal team. The Corporate Lawyer will support day‑to‑day operations by providing commercial, regulatory and corporate legal advice, helping the business grow in a compliant and risk‑aware manner.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on routine business matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage a variety of commercial contracts, including customer agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs and framework agreements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations such as corporate, commercial and data‑protection rules (e.g., GDPR).
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks, offering practical, business‑focused solutions.
• Support corporate governance, internal policies, procedures and documentation.
• Coordinate with external legal advisors and manage external counsel relationships.
• Monitor legislative changes relevant to CSG’s activities and advise on their impact.
• Assist internal projects, transformations and cross‑functional initiatives from a legal perspective.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes, templates and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Proactive and business‑oriented legal professional.
• Experience in corporate, commercial and regulatory law.
• Ability to work closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
• Strong analytical skills to assess legal risks and propose solutions.
• Familiarity with data‑protection regulations such as GDPR.
