Credit Controller – Full-time On-site Role

About the role

The Credit Controller will be based in Port Louis and will work full‑time on‑site supporting Global Servicing Activities Ltd’s credit management function. The role involves monitoring customer accounts, reviewing outstanding debtors and ensuring timely collection of payments in line with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts and review outstanding debtors to guarantee timely payment.
• Analyse creditworthiness, manage credit risk and enforce credit limits.
• Maintain accurate records of credit decisions, balances and payment histories.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external clients to resolve payment issues and reconcile accounts.
• Support month‑end and year‑end financial reporting and prepare regular credit and collection reports.
• Contribute to process improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong experience in credit control, debt collection and managing credit risk.
• Solid understanding of finance principles, accounts receivable processes and basic accounting.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP or other accounting systems.
