Credit Controller

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Credit Controller to join our team in Bel Air Rivière Sèche, Mauritius. The role is responsible for monitoring customer accounts, tracking debtors and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding balances in line with Group policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review credit limits and analyse account risk on a daily basis.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Contact customers by phone, email or written correspondence to follow up overdue payments.
• Prepare regular reports on credit exposure and collection performance.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to resolve issues and improve credit management processes.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• Proven experience in credit control, debt collection or managing debtor portfolios.
• Strong understanding of finance principles and basic accounting concepts.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment.
