Credit Controller

About the role

As a Credit Controller you will support the Credit Control Team and work closely with the Finance department to ensure smooth credit operations. You will assist team management in planning, monitoring activities and handling communications with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in daily credit control activities and provide administrative support.
• Maintain and monitor the Credit Control Team timetable.
• Issue and distribute debit notes and statements of accounts.
• Manage the Credit Control Outlook inbox, assign tasks and follow up on overdue items.
• Schedule internal and external meetings and coordinate communications.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to the wider finance and credit control teams.
• Maintain organized folders, reports and process documentation.
• Keep process manuals and contact details up to date.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks directed by the manager.

Required profile

• Experience in administrative support or personal assistant roles.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of credit control functions is a plus.
• Financial or accounting degree is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration tools.
