About the role
The Credit Manager – Specialized Lending will work within MCB’s Risk function, assessing complex corporate, project and trade‑finance credit proposals. The role involves evaluating specialised‑lending exposures, providing underwriting judgement and offering portfolio‑level risk insight that aligns with the bank’s risk appetite.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse financial models, borrowers and transaction structures for specialised‑lending proposals.
- Recommend credit decisions or exercise delegated authority and identify appropriate risk mitigants.
- Monitor portfolio exposures and collaborate with business teams on structuring and emerging risks.
Required profile
- Degree in finance, accounting, banking or a related discipline.
- At least six years of corporate‑banking experience involving structured, project or trade finance.
- Strong credit analysis and modelling skills with a solid understanding of banking regulation.
