Customer Service Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our retail banking branch. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, driving sales, and handling transactional processing while promoting digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality customer service throughout the journey, resolve complaints promptly and promote the use of remote and digital channels.
• Drive sales by cross‑selling products, acquiring new‑to‑bank clients and meeting performance targets.
• Perform end‑to‑end cashier duties, cash evacuation, till balancing and other branch operations such as account opening, cheque book issuance, standing orders and funds transfers.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, anti‑money‑laundering and internal bank policies and maintain operational rigour for audit readiness.
• Collaborate with the branch team, provide cover for colleagues and contribute to branch initiatives to achieve retail objectives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated customer obsession and excellent oral communication.
• Strong analytical ability and digital savviness.
• Proven sales techniques and good negotiation skills.
• Ability to plan, organise and work effectively in a team.
• Knowledge of banking legislation, AML, KYC and cash management procedures.
