Data Quality & Marketing Trainee

About the role

This trainee role focuses on gathering and analysing guest insights throughout the booking journey. You will support data‑driven marketing initiatives that enhance the guest experience and improve overall business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct guest interviews during breakfast hours to collect survey data on booking behaviours.
• Record responses on printed forms and transfer them daily to SurveyMonkey.
• Maintain and update the guest tracking list using Excel.
• Provide QR codes for guests who prefer a digital survey option.
• Collaborate with Front Office and Marketing teams to ensure smooth data collection.
• Uphold discretion and professionalism when interacting with guests.
• Prepare weekly reports and update Google Business Pages for the hotel.
• Develop new surveys for key guest segments such as golfers, couples, seniors, families and repeat visitors.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism or a related field.
• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, guest relations, marketing or market research is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑service orientation.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data collection and reporting.
• Organisational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Analytical mindset with interest in understanding customer behaviour and identifying trends.
