Deputy Head of Golf

About the role

Tamarina Golf Club is looking for a Deputy Head of Golf to play a pivotal leadership role in the daily operation and strategic development of the club. The role combines golf operations, event management, membership development and food and beverage integration, delivering a seamless, high-end guest and member experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of Golf in daily golf operations, including tee sheet management, guest experience and pace of play, and supervise golf services staff
• Assist in coaching programmes, clinics and player development initiatives
• Plan, organise and run club competitions, corporate days and private events, liaising with external clients and sponsors and coordinating logistics across golf, F&B and marketing teams
• Manage membership enquiries, onboarding and retention, build member relationships and monitor member satisfaction
• Work with F&B management to align operations, contribute to event menus and clubhouse offerings, and support revenue growth through integrated golf and dining experiences
• Act as deputy to the Head of Golf, take part in strategic planning, budgeting and operational reviews, and prepare to assume full Head of Golf responsibilities within 2-3 years

Required profile

• Premium qualification such as PGA Professional or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a golf operations leadership role
• Proven experience in event management and membership services
• Strong understanding of food and beverage operations in a club setting
• Leadership mindset with ambition to progress into a senior management role
