Director of Finance & Operations

About the role

Anchor Capital Mauritius is entering a rapid growth phase and needs a strategic leader to own the financial, operational and governance framework of the Mauritian entity. The Director of Finance & Operations will build a best‑in‑class financial services platform while ensuring regulatory substance and cross‑border compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full finance function, delivering accurate, timely reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Design and optimise scalable operational systems, driving automation and eliminating manual bottlenecks.
• Oversee all regulatory submissions to the FSC and maintain comprehensive compliance and governance records.
• Support the setup of new entities, shared services and operational expansion across multiple jurisdictions.
• Mentor finance and operations teams, establishing KPIs, performance structures and a culture of accountability.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with 10‑15+ years senior experience in financial services, asset management or banking.
• Proven track record of leading finance and operations in regulated, multi‑jurisdictional environments.
• Strategic, proactive leader with strong communication skills and the ability to create structure in evolving organisations.
