Ecommerce Strategist

About the role

The Ecommerce Strategist will work in a hybrid setting from Quatre Bornes, analysing performance data and shaping growth strategies across marketplaces, retailer media and direct‑to‑consumer channels. The role bridges ecommerce tactics with broader media and brand initiatives to drive measurable results for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse ecommerce performance data, identify growth opportunities and develop strategic plans for marketplaces, retailer media and D2C sites.
• Build, optimise and monitor ecommerce marketing plans, ensuring alignment with overall media and brand strategies.
• Collaborate with client teams, media specialists and cross‑functional groups such as analytics, creative and technology to execute campaigns.
• Prepare performance reports, insights and recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Stay up‑to‑date on ecommerce platform trends, tools and best practices, proactively advising on new opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ecommerce strategy, marketplace and retailer media planning, online merchandising and conversion optimisation.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience using data interpretation and performance reporting tools.
• Knowledge of digital marketing channels (paid search, display, social, programmatic) and how they integrate with ecommerce goals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work collaboratively across teams and communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Communications or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in media agencies, ecommerce or digital marketing environments is highly beneficial.
