Face-to-Face Fundraiser

About the role
As a face-to-face fundraiser you will be the public face of Greenpeace in Mauritius, engaging passers-by in conversations about environmental issues and encouraging them to become regular monthly supporters.
Key responsibilities
- Approach and engage members of the public in friendly, informative discussions about Greenpeace campaigns.
- Inspire individuals to sign up for regular monthly donations via direct debit.
- Represent Greenpeace’s values and brand with passion and professionalism.
- Work towards individual and team sign-up targets.
- Maintain accurate records and submit daily activity reports.
- Operate across various outdoor locations such as shopping centres, markets and community events.
Required profile
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident speaking to strangers.
- Genuine passion for environmental and social causes.
- Self-motivated, target-driven with a positive attitude.
- Fluency in English or French; knowledge of Creole is an advantage.
- Previous sales, fundraising or customer-facing experience is a plus but not mandatory.
