Facility Officer

About the role

The Facility Officer is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Rose Hill. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day coordination and oversight of building operations, ensuring that all property systems function safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the condition of facilities and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Liaise with service providers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to address tenant or user requests.
• Support compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, work orders, contracts, and other facility activities.
• Assist with budgeting for facility‑related expenses and contribute to continuous improvement of building efficiency and user experience.

Required profile

• Strong facilities operations and facility management skills, including coordination of maintenance and building services.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety standards and the ability to support regulatory compliance.
• Effective communication and customer‑service abilities for professional stakeholder interaction.
• Excellent organization, prioritisation, attention to detail, and record‑keeping capabilities.
• Experience in property, facilities, or building management is highly beneficial; prior work in real estate or commercial facilities is an advantage.
• Basic proficiency with office software and facility‑management tools for reporting, scheduling, and documentation.
• Relevant certification or training in facilities management, building services, or occupational health and safety is an asset.
