Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will oversee the financial activities of a business unit, shaping strategy and ensuring operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, the role combines day‑to‑day accounting oversight with strategic budgeting and reporting responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regular accounting tasks: reconcile bank statements, maintain the general ledger, process AP/AR, and support month‑end and year‑end closings.
• Own the financial planning cycle, including treasury management, budget control, account consolidation and dashboard creation.
• Participate in internal and external audit assignments.
• Assist the CFO with budget preparation, monitoring, strategic projects and financial data analytics.
• Ensure timely delivery of all financial reports: monthly management accounts, operational dashboards, quarterly and annual group reporting packs, yearly budgets, board packs and any required health‑authority filings.
• Monitor trends and variances, providing analysis to the executive team.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) at the final stage.
• Proven experience in a similar finance function; healthcare experience is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP and strong accounting reporting and financial analysis abilities.
• High accuracy, attention to detail and sound judgement.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Netsuite and Sage accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
