Food and Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Food and Beverage Supervisor will support the Outlet Manager and Assistant Outlet Manager in delivering high‑quality service at Constance Le Chaland, a luxury resort on Mauritius' south‑eastern coast. The role ensures smooth daily operations, guest satisfaction, and staff performance in a fast‑paced, hospitality‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Assistant Outlet Manager and Outlet Manager to maintain service standards.
• Monitor safety, cleanliness, and tidiness of the outlet area.
• Oversee arrangements for groups, VIPs, and special‑attention guests.
• Handle guest feedback, communicate issues to management, and drive improvements.
• Assist in training, development, and performance evaluation of outlet staff.
• Enforce staff discipline, grooming, and adherence to policies.
• Participate in briefings, meetings, and training sessions.
• Conduct daily inventories and ensure equipment maintenance.
• Support administrative duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in the hotel industry, preferably in luxury resorts.
• At least 1 year in a similar supervisory role.
• Middle or secondary education; additional hospitality training or certificates are a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English; additional language skills are advantageous.
