Front Office Officer

About the role

The Front Office Officer will be the first point of contact for guests at Le Jadis Beach Resort & Wellness Mauritius. Working full‑time on‑site, you will ensure a warm, efficient, and professional reception experience for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage check‑in and check‑out procedures for guests.
• Handle reservations, telephone and in‑person inquiries, and provide accurate information about resort facilities and local attractions.
• Process payments, update guest records, and maintain an organized reception area.
• Coordinate with other departments to guarantee smooth guest experiences.
• Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns and support administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Excellent spoken and written English and the ability to interact confidently with diverse guests and colleagues.
• Professional appearance, calm under pressure, and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Previous experience in a hotel front office or similar customer‑facing role, preferably in a luxury or boutique setting.
• Relevant hospitality, tourism, or administration qualification is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management or reservation systems.
• Good computer literacy and familiarity with standard office software.
