Full Stack Developer – Finance Transformation

About the role

EY Mauritius is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of finance‑focused web applications. The role combines hands‑on coding with technical leadership, cloud architecture, and responsible use of AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Create responsive front‑end applications with Angular and/or React, ensuring cross‑browser compatibility.
• Develop and document RESTful APIs, integrate third‑party services, and manage authentication, logging, and monitoring.
• Containerize applications with Docker, orchestrate multi‑container setups using Docker Compose, and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy solutions on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, participating in architecture planning for scalability, availability, and cost optimisation.
• Leverage AI‑enabled development tools for coding, debugging, testing, and documentation while adhering to responsible AI practices.
• Provide technical guidance, review code, and assist the team in planning deliverables and architectural decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, preferably in finance or transformation projects.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to make architectural decisions.
• Experience leading or mentoring development teams.
• Familiarity with security, compliance, and performance best practices in cloud environments.
