Fund Accountant

About the role

Apex Group, a fund administration and middle office solutions provider founded in Bermuda in 2003, is looking for a Fund Accountant. The role covers NAV reporting, financial statement preparation, audit liaison and client relationship support.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs according to client-required frequencies, with possible review responsibilities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual accounts and financial statements, plus other reporting requested by clients, with possible review responsibilities.
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure audits are completed on time.
• Support Transfer Agency transactions as and when required.
• Take overall responsibility for client relationships, including preparing for cash management, responding to inquiries and taking part in client meetings.

Required profile

• 0-3 years of accounting experience; fund industry experience is an advantage.
• ACCA qualified, partly qualified, or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong time management and organisational skills, able to meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, hardworking, detail-oriented and eager to learn.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund accounting software such as Investran, eFront, Paxus or Allvue is advantageous.
