About the role
The Guest Room Attendant ensures that guest rooms and bathrooms are cleaned, inspected and prepared to Four Seasons standards, providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests at the resort in Mauritius.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and make up guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, and sanitising bathrooms.
- Inspect rooms for quality, restock supplies, and report any maintenance issues or missing items.
- Handle guest laundry, uniforms and hotel linen, following safe handling and MSDS procedures.
- Assist guests and internal customers by responding to calls, coordinating with other departments and delivering a high level of hospitality.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year experience in housekeeping at a 5‑star resort or hotel.
- Technical education in hospitality management is preferred.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow grooming and hygiene standards.
Required skills
- Knowledge of MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) procedures.
- Safe handling of housekeeping equipment and machinery.
