Guest Service Agent

About the role

The Guest Service Agent ensures a seamless check‑in experience and provides friendly, efficient service throughout each guest's stay at Constance Le Chaland, a luxury resort on Mauritius' south‑eastern coast.

Key responsibilities

• Manage reservations, arrivals, in‑house stays, requests and departures.
• Welcome guests and visitors with elegance, directing them to appropriate areas.
• Update guest history files and record special events (birthdays, anniversaries, weddings) for coordinated action.
• Handle guest issues promptly and ensure all requests are addressed quickly.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, front desk, villas and other departments for daily operations.
• Participate in wedding/honeymoon reservations and ensure room assignments are confirmed two days before arrival.
• Organise weekly management cocktail invitations and support hotel visits as required.

Required profile

• Middle or secondary education with additional training or certificates in hospitality.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a top luxury resort.
• Fluency in English and at least one other language (written and verbal); a third language is a plus.
• Strong verbal communication, professionalism and customer focus.
• Excellent organisational, multitasking and time‑management abilities.
