Guest Service Agent – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Guest Service Agent ensures a seamless and welcoming experience for all visitors at Constance Le Chaland, a luxury resort on Mauritius' south‑eastern coast. You will be the first point of contact, handling check‑ins, reservations, guest requests and departures while maintaining the high standards of service expected by our discerning clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Manage guest reservations, arrivals, in‑house stays and departures efficiently.
• Provide smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, addressing guest inquiries promptly.
• Update and maintain guest history files, recording special occasions and preferences.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, front desk, villas and other departments to fulfill guest needs.
• Assist with wedding and honeymoon reservations, ensuring rooms are allocated in advance.
• Organise weekly invitations for management cocktail events.
• Participate in hotel visits and other duties as required by management.

Required profile

• Secondary education or equivalent, with additional hospitality training or certificates.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a luxury resort.
• Proven ability to deliver professional, courteous service to high‑end guests.
• Fluent in English and at least one additional language; a third language is a plus.
