Guest Service Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Guest Service Assistant to join our vibrant team at C Mauritius. The role involves welcoming guests, handling enquiries, and ensuring smooth front‑office operations in a dynamic resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and register guests according to C Mauritius standards, preparing registration cards and keys.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, local area attractions and outlet operating hours.
• Handle guest complaints professionally, record details and follow up to resolution.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the front desk and back‑office areas.
• Process check‑ins, check‑outs, billing, and update guest information in the Opera PMS.
• Coordinate luggage delivery with the Concierge desk and follow up on lost‑luggage enquiries.
• Promote upselling of hotel products and services and respond to special requests.
• Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar hospitality role.
• SC holder or equivalent National Trade Certificate Level 3.
• Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.
• Team player with a flexible approach to work schedules.
