Head of Business Development – Global Growth (Mauritius)

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious, internationally connected, and commercially astute Head of Business Development to lead the next phase of growth for our Mauritius organisation. This senior role goes beyond sales, influencing investment flows, structuring global wealth solutions and building strategic partnerships across Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organisation’s business development strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Identify and secure high‑value revenue opportunities across corporate, private wealth and family office sectors.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and intermediaries in Mauritius, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
• Establish strategic partnerships with legal firms, accounting firms, banks, asset managers and introducers.
• Lead client acquisition initiatives and expand the firm’s presence in target markets while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Established financial services executive with a strong network across Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
• Deep knowledge of the Mauritius International Financial Centre and experience with regulated management companies.
• Proven track record of generating profitable growth and securing recurring‑revenue mandates.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with compliance, legal and operations teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software and other sales‑marketing tools.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret sales data and trends.
