Head of Industrial Engineering & Continuous Improvement

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and visionary leader to head the Industrial Engineering and Continuous Improvement function for our integrated textile and apparel manufacturing operations in Mauritius and Madagascar. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will drive operational excellence, productivity, and Lean transformation across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Group Industrial Engineering and Continuous Improvement strategy and multi‑year roadmap.
• Lead the deployment of Lean Manufacturing methodologies, including Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and Visual Management.
• Establish governance for Continuous Improvement projects and monitor benefits realization.
• Oversee time studies, work measurement, capacity planning, line balancing, and workforce optimization.
• Drive factory layout optimization, material flow improvements, and support automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and HR to deliver sustainable business results.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in industrial engineering or continuous improvement within manufacturing.
• Strong strategic thinking with a track record of driving productivity and cost‑competitiveness.
• Excellent stakeholder management and advisory skills for senior management.
